Spiral ground piles are a new type of foundation building material, mainly used to replace the traditional reinforced concrete pouring construction process.
1.Structure and Composition
Screw piles typically consist of the following components:
Pipe body: Generally made of high-strength steel, it is the main part of the pile.
Spiral blades: Welded to the surface of the pipe body, they increase the contact area with the soil, provide friction and support.
Connecting flange: Used to connect loads or other structural components, facilitating installation and fixation.

2.Working Principle
The working principle of helical piles is similar to that of wood screws. Through a dedicated tightening device, the pile is screwed into the ground in a spiral manner. The helical blades come into contact with the soil and generate friction, providing stable support for the upper structure. They have strong tensile resistance and insertion grip, effectively distributing pressure and reducing the risk of settlement.

Notes to be observed
Before using helical piles, static load tests should be conducted based on geological conditions to ensure their bearing capacity meets the design requirements. The installation accuracy is highly demanding, usually needing to be controlled within 1.5 centimeters. Special attention should be paid to the anti-corrosion performance of helical piles, especially during long-term use, to ensure the durability of their anti-corrosion coating.

The processing method and manufacturing process of helical piles
Material selection
Raw materials: Q235 welded pipes are usually selected as the main raw materials for the production of spiral ground piles, which have excellent welding performance and mechanical properties.
Processing steps
1. Cutting: According to the design requirements, the raw materials are cut to the required length. During the cutting process, it is necessary to ensure that the cut is smooth to facilitate the subsequent deformation and welding processes.
2. Deformation: The cut pipes are subjected to a reduction process to achieve the designed outer diameter, preparing for the subsequent welding process.
3. Welding: The spiral blades, connecting flange plates, and other components are welded onto the pipe body. This is one of the key processes in the production of spiral ground piles. The welding quality directly affects the strength and service life of the ground piles. It is necessary to strictly control the welding process parameters, such as welding current, voltage, and speed, to ensure that the welds are full and free from defects such as false welding, missed welding, and sand holes.
4. Pickling: The welded ground piles are placed in a pickling tank, where they are treated with acid to remove rust, oxide scale, and other impurities from the surface, providing a good surface condition for hot-dip galvanizing. The pickling time and acid concentration must be strictly controlled to avoid excessive corrosion or incomplete cleaning.
5. Hot-dip Galvanizing: The pickled ground piles are immersed in molten zinc to form a uniform zinc coating on the surface, enhancing the corrosion resistance of the ground piles. During hot-dip galvanizing, the temperature of the zinc bath and the immersion time must be strictly controlled to ensure that the zinc coating thickness and adhesion meet the standard requirements.
Follow-up processing
After the above main process steps, some subsequent treatments are still needed for the helical ground piles, such as cleaning, drying, surface inspection, etc., to ensure that the product quality meets the factory requirements. Finally, the qualified helical ground piles are packaged and stored in the warehouse for transportation and sale.
